With Maroon Lake as still as a sheet of mirror placed specifically to reflect the glory of the Maroon Bells, this was one of those days where one could just sit on one of the rocks by the side of the lake and gaze in wonder at the beauty and peacefulness of this location. It comes as no surprise that these twin peaks are one of the most photographed peaks in the lower 48! The low hanging clouds provided the perfect lagniappe for an already picturesque location to make it ethereal!
