This is a panoramic view from the state route 82 (which can be seen coursing from the bottom right to the middle in the right 1/3rd of the panorama) that runs through the towns of Aspen, ghost town of Independence and finally crosses the Continental Divide in Pitkin County, CO. The view from this spot is quite breathtaking and if the elements are lined up right it provides a perfect paradisiacal spot for the shutterbug.

This image was made from 6 photographs that were stitched together to make this panorama. The ghost town of Independence is located right where the slopes of the ranges on the left and the slopes from the ranges on the right "intersect".
