Cancer Survivors Garden in downtown Chicago is a lovely garden to visit if you are in the city. A stroll through this garden/park during spring time makes you feel like you are in an oasis right in the midst of the cacophony of a huge metropolis. On a cold, snowy, wintry morning with no one else in the park, I had the whole place to myself. Looking at the line up of these lovely benches under the snow covered trees it made me stop and reflect on the challenges that people who are affected with this devastating disease go through. Spring isn't too far away and just like we hope for the seasons to change, people with cancer cling on to the hope we all call life!
