The golden hour on the last day of the 2011 year was just purely golden. Waking up early and heading down to the beach in Akumal, Mexico while on vacation I wasn't disappointed one bit to find these beautiful God beams, or Angel Rays or whatever else you'd like to call these fantastic rays, stream through the thick cloud layer giving me this beautiful photograph. Like the saying goes, the early bird gets the best possible light & of course photograph.
