A beautiful little waterfall nestled in the Appalachian range of the Blue Ridge Parkway just a few miles from Pisgah Inn on the Parkway. This lovely waterfall is part of the west fork of the Pigeon River that flows through the mountains of western North Carolina and north eastern Tennessee. With a heavy cloud cover the day was just perfect to go on a waterfall hunt and this was my first stop with absolutely easy access right from the road. To get the ever pesky tourists out of the picture I hiked close to the waterfall to get this view and though it is unadvisable to trek/hike on the slippery rocks the hike to this point was well worth it for me.
