******************************
The closest cousin of the Great American Bald Eagle, the Steller's Sea Eagle is one of the largest birds in its family of Accipitridae's. With a wing span between 6.5-7.5 feet, these magnificent raptors are an endangered species as their habitats are slowly being taken over by industrialization. Their main source of food is the cold-water salmon. Their razor sharp beaks and claws provide them with the right tools necessary to cut through the skin of the cold water salmon. They can mainly be found in the far north eastern parts of Asia and this habitat has enabled them to adapt admirably to the harsh environments.
