Riksgatan is the only street in the capital city of Stockholm that is not owned by the city but by the Swedish Parliament or the Parliament House. This street bifurcates the eastern and western buildings of the Parliament and is part of Gamla Stan, the old town on the island of Helgeandsholmen. During the long summer nights, the light from the setting Sun and the light from the lamps provide a beautiful setting for photography. With practically no pedestrians around, this was the perfect opportunity to capture the beauty of these historical buildings and street.
