The first sunset in December 2013 turned out to be quite a spectacular one, especially after there had been no promise of something spectacular like this happening earlier in the day. With incessant rain rolling in the chances of one of these famed sunsets looked very bleak. However, about 30 minutes prior to the sunset the skies started clearing up pretty quickly and with the presence of moisture in the air I was hoping against hope that I would be able to witness something like this. With the clouds breaking up even more just as the Sun sizzled in to the ocean, the sky lit up brilliantly giving the viewers what they had come to witness.
