As the Sun sizzled into the Pacific Ocean at Point Loma, I was watching the waves crash incessantly into these stubborn rocks along the seashore. Watching this just left me wondering which quality of Nature should be admired. Should the power, the destructive force of the water trying to make these stubborn rocks crumble into pieces be the winner? Or should it be the stoic, stubborn nature of the rocks, bravely withstanding everything that's thrown at them be the winner? As I sat there, I couldn't come up with an answer. The only thing I knew I could do is to point my lens at the beautiful natural creations and let the viewer decide which quality trumps. As they say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder but in this case, to me personally, both qualities won! Taken at Point Loma along one of the many pullouts along Sunset Boulevard.
